Mass Timber Wine Tasting Room

An internal feasibility study conducted by ZJA and The Grant Company centered on a pre-designed mass timber tasting room suitable for various sites across Oregon.

Key design considerations included:

  • Offsite pre-fabrication: The entire superstructure is built offsite, significantly reducing the typical construction timeline.

  • Use of high-quality, durable materials.

  • Rapid construction: Minimizing unique details and emphasizing repeatability to expedite the building process.

  • Adaptability: The main structure, featuring a glulam and steel frame with a CLT roof deck, allows for versatile uses beyond a tasting room.
